In a recent gathering of BJP workers and supporters in Bogda area of Khadagpur city, West Bengal, party leader Dilip Ghosh made controversial remarks regarding the state's political future and ongoing corruption investigations.
Ghosh claimed that the BJP's formation of government in Bangladesh is inevitable, and that the party's increasing support in West Bengal's Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections indicate that the BJP is the future of the state.
He also referenced Union Home Minister Amit Shah's prediction of 35 potential BJP seats in the upcoming state election.
The BJP leader also spoke about corruption investigations by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), stating that wherever there is corruption, the ED and CBI will investigate.
He accused leaders, ministers, MPs, and MLAs from all political parties of being involved in corruption, and urged the ED and CBI to continue their investigations without fear or favor.
In response to allegations made against former TMC leader Mukul Roy, Ghosh claimed that Roy's case has already been investigated, and suggested that there is no further news about him because he is no longer relevant.
The remarks made by Dileep Ghosh have caused controversy in the political landscape of West Bengal, with many criticizing his comments as inflammatory and divisive.
